TAEKWON DO

J’ai commencé le Taekwondo en 1986 à l’âge de 10 ans. Merci Papa et Maman de m’avoir fait découvrir ce sport.

I started TKD in 1986 when I was 10 years old. Thanks to Mum and Dad to lead me to discover this sport.

J’ai obtenu le grade de ceinture noir 1er Dan 4 ans plus tard.

I have been graduated black belt four years later.

3 ans plus tard en 1997, j’ai rejoint l’équipe de moniteur du club pour enseigner le taekwondo au plus jeunes.

After 3 more years in 1997, I joined the school team to teach Taekwondo to young children.

Je pratique le taekwondo depuis maintenant plus de 30 ans. Je suis ceinture noir 5ième Dan. J’ai également été compétiteur plusieurs années.

I do practice the Taekwondo for 30+ years. I’m holding a 5th degree black belt and have been competitor during several years.

Je suis toujours un des moniteurs responsables du club de Hannut avec mes amis Patrick et Christophe.

I’m still one of the Head Trainer and responsible of the club in Hannut with my great Friends Patrick and Christophe .

J’ai également eu quelques fonctions à la fédération Belge.

I fulfilled several functions in the Belgian federation.

De 2002 à 2006 j’ai été assistant coach et coach principale de 2006 à 2008 de l’équipe Belge

From 2002 till 2006 I have been assistant coach and main coach from 2006 to 2008 of the Belgian team.

Dans ce rôle, mes tâches étaient nombreuses: planification des entrainements, organisation de camps d'entraînement en Belgique et à l'étranger, coaching, gestion des voyages d'équipe aux tournois principaux (Championnats du monde et européens).

In those functions, my duties were numerous as scheduling the trainings, organization of training camps in Belgium and abroad, coaching, management of team travels to the main tournaments (World or European Championships).

Je suis le premier coach de taekwondo à avoir participer aux Jeux Olympiques (Athènes 2004 avec Laurence Rase)

I’m the first Belgian taekwondo coach who went to the Olympics Games (Athens 2004 with Laurence Rase).

Aujourd’hui je me concentre uniquement sur le club de Hannut : Hannut Educsport (www.hannuteducsport.be)

Today I am only focusing on our Taekwondo school of Hannut : Hannut Educsport (www.hannuteducsport.be)

Le Taekwondo et particulièrement le Taekwondo à Hannut EducSport a beaucoup contribué au façonnement de ma personnalité et est toujours très important pour moi.

Taekwondo and especially Taekwondo at Hannut EducSport has greatly contributed to shaping my personality and is still very important to me.
